These Old Fashioned Buttermilk Biscuits are one of my favorite memories from childhood. Served with butter and syrup for breakfast ,they're moist, substantial, and totally delicious!

Preheat

Preheat the oven and prepare the skillet or baking sheet.

Sift

Sift the flour into a mixing bowl.

Add

Make a well in the flour and add the oil and buttermilk.

Mix

Combine but don't overmix the ingredients.

Finish

Finish the biscuit dough by bringing it together on a board.

Shape

Shape the biscuits in your hand.

Add to Pan

Place the biscuits in the prepared pan.

Bake

Bake until golden brown. Top with melted butter.
