2large Vidalia onionssliced and separated into rings
6 tomatoesquartered
1large green bell peppercut into strips
¾cupwhite vinegar
1 ½teaspoonscelery seed
1 ½teaspoonsmustard seed
½teaspoonsalt
¾cupwater
2tablespoonssugar
¼teaspoonblack pepper
Instructions
Cut the tomatoes into wedges and the onions and peppers into rings.
Place vegetables in a shallow dish.
Bring remaining ingredients to a boil and cook for one minute.
Pour the warm marinade over the vegetables.
Cover the dish and refrigerate for several hours or overnight. Keeps in refrigerator for several days.
