Ingredients
3 ½cupswater
½cupdried cranberries
2cupold-fashioned oats
¼teaspoonsalt
½cupshelled pistachios
½cuplight brown sugar
For serving:
Butter
Cream
Instructions
In a medium saucepan, over high heat, bring the water and dried cranberries to a boil.
Stir in the oats and salt.
Reduce the heat to medium and cook, stirring frequently, for about 5 minutes.
Stir in the pistachios and brown sugar. Stir until sugar has completely melted.
Serve with a pat of butter and a drizzle of cream.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Oats will thicken as they sit, so you'll need to add a splash of milk or water before reheating in the microwave.
