Ingredients
For the burgers:
½poundground beef(recommend; 80-20)
½poundground pork
½medium onionfinely chopped
½medium green bell pepperfinely chopped
⅓cupfine dry bread crumbs
½teaspoonsalt
½teaspoonground black pepper
1tablespoonWorcestershire sauce
1eggbeaten
For the topping:
½cupcatsup
2tablespoonsyellow mustard
For serving:
4hamburger bunssplit and toasted
2tablespoonsmayonnaise
tomato, onion, lettuceas desired
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375F.
In a large bowl, combine the beef, pork, chopped onion, bell pepper, bread crumbs, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and egg. Lightly combine the ingredients being careful not to compact the mixture too much.
½ pound ground beef, ½ pound ground pork, ½ medium onion, ½ medium green bell pepper, ⅓ cup fine dry bread crumbs, ½ teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon ground black pepper, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, 1 egg
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Form the meat mixture into four patties and place them 2-3 inches apart on the baking sheet.
In a small bowl, combine the ketchup and mustard. Spoon evenly over the four patties.
½ cup catsup, 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
Bake at 375 for approximately 20 minutes or until done through (155-160F on a meat thermometer).
Spread each toasted bun with mayonnaise. Place one burger on each toasted bun. Top with onion, lettuce, and tomato as desired.
