Need a quick, easy dessert recipe for a birthday party, football party, or get-together with friends or family? Look no further than this Easy Snickers Dip recipe!

This candy bar dip has it all! It’s sweet, creamy, chocolatey, and nutty all in one. It’s really great with apple slices and strawberries but I like it best with salty dippers like pretzels.

For a special treat, create a dipping board with Snickers Dip as the centerpiece. Add everything you can think of as dippers – sliced fruit, nuts, pretzel rods, shortbread, graham crackers – and let everyone dig in.

❤️ Why I Love This Recipe

  • It’s so good. Kids and adults both love this dip.
  • It’s easy – just 4 ingredients!
  • The recipe can be varied in dozens of creative ways.

🛒 Ingredient Notes

Ingredients needed to make Snickers dip.

  • Cream Cheese (Have the cream cheese at room temperature for best results. It’s hard to blend cream cheese that’s still cold from the refrigerator.)
  • Whipped Topping (I prefer Cool Whip brand, but others work just as well. Or you could be really indulgent and use freshly made sweetened whipped cream.)
  • Vanilla Extract (Use a quality brand for best flavor.)
  • Snickers Candy Bars (Three full-sized bars (1.86 ounces each) are needed for the recipe.)

You’ll find detailed measurements for all ingredients in the printable version of the recipe at the bottom of this post.

🥄How to Make Snickers Dip

  1. In a large bowl, add the cream cheese, whipped topping, and vanilla extract.
  2. Use an electric mixer to beat together until smooth and fluffy.
  1. Chop the Snickers bars into small, bite-sized pieces.
  2. Gently fold the chopped Snickers into the cream cheese and whipped topping mixture.
Drizzing caramel sauce over the dip.
STEP 5.
  1. Serve drizzled with caramel sauce (optional).

❗Tips

  • Refrigerate the Snickers bars for at least one hour before chopping. Chilling will make the bars firmer and easier to cut.
  • Be sure to have the cream cheese at room temperature to prevent lumps when combining it with the whipped topping. Let it sit out of the refrigerator for a minimum of 30 minutes, preferably an hour.

🔀 Variations

The cream cheese, whipped topping, and vanilla extract mixture is a great basis for making a dip of your own. Create something unique with one or more of the following ideas.

  • Stir in 2 tablespoons of peanut butter or tahini for a more pronounced nutty flavor.
  • Add 1/4 cup of light brown sugar.
  • Add 1/2 cup of plain or toasted coconut.
  • Stir in 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips.
  • Make any type of candy bar dip you like. Good choices are Heath bars, Milky Way, Hershey Milk Chocolate, Nestle’s Crunch, and Reese’s Cups.
  • Make this into a holiday recipe by incorporating homemade peanut brittle, my Homemade Mounds Bars Candy, or Salted Butterscotch Fudge !

🍽️ How to Serve

Serve with your favorite dippers. Sliced fresh fruits or sweet and salty snacks are great. I like it with strawberries and apple slices or with pretzels, graham crackers, vanilla wafers, pirouettes, and shortbread.

Here’s a fun idea! Make a dessert board with your Snickers cream cheese dip as the feature surrounded by everything you can think of as dippers!

Or arrange your dip and dippers in a beautiful “chip and dip” server like the one below.

🍚 Storage

Any leftover dip can be stored well covered in the refrigerator for up to a week.

❓ Questions About Snickers Dip

Can I use light cream cheese?

You can use “light” or low-fat products in Snickers dip with good results.

Can I make it ahead of time?

Sure can! Make the dip up to two days in advance and keep it tightly covered in the refrigerator. For best taste, remove from the fridge about 30 minutes before serving.
